MSVS MilCOTS Fleet Reset & Readiness (Canada)

Drawing on experience supporting a national fleet readiness and reset initiative for the Canadian Army’s MSVS MilCOTS vehicles, we bring proven insight into lifecycle sustainment, part-supply integration, and readiness planning for large defence fleets.

Challenge

The Canadian Army’s MSVS MilCOTS fleet required a coordinated national reset initiative to address vehicle wear, readiness gaps, and lifecycle sustainment challenges. The project demanded multi-year coordination across logistics networks, maintenance partners, technical teams, and federal stakeholders to restore fleet availability and extend operational life.

Approach

Our leadership experience includes supporting fleet readiness planning, coordinating upgrade and reset activities, integrating dealer and supplier workflows, and providing program-level oversight on part-supply alignment and technical assessments. This involved evaluating fleet baselines, planning sustainment pathways, harmonizing reporting streams, and ensuring reset activities met federal readiness and compliance standards.

Results

  • Contributed to a successful multi-year readiness and reset program across Canada.
  • Enabled improved fleet availability and extended vehicle lifecycle outcomes.
  • Supported national-level coordination between dealers, suppliers, technical teams, and program authorities.
  • Helped integrate sustainment processes that improved long-term operational reliability.
